Megan Thee Stallion, her record label's lawyers and others close to her are "concerned" that after almost two months, no one has been arrested for shooting her. “This case is open and shut and I’m very concerned that we’re still lingering here,” a source told Page Six. “It’s not being treated with the same level of resources and focus as if it was a white college student.” According to insiders, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has enough evidence, including medical records and Megan's own words. “Megan wasn’t going to name names," says another source. "But there were lies that were being spread and she wasn’t going to stand for it.” On August 20, the rapper accused Lanez by name. “Yes, this n**a Tory shot me,” she said in a video. “You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lyin’ and s**t. Stop lyin’. Why lie?” Megan's record label, Roc Nation, has their attorney at work on the issue. Alex Spiro said, “we remain concerned that, given the irrefutable evidence, they have yet to take action." To date, Tory Lanez has only been hit with gun possession charges. "We are ethically and legally required to review all of the evidence... before deciding whether or not to file criminal charges," said a rep for the LAPD.
